Abstract: Global warming causes sea level rise as oceans expand, causing floods and coastal erosion that continuously put communities in islands as Grenada at risk. At the Water´s Edge project, a collaboration between the Red Cross and The Nature Conservancy, builds community resilience empowering people, restoring mangroves and installing hybrid artificial reefs to protect coastline from erosion, in order to diminish these risks.
