Economics of DRR Collection home page

Economic costs of disasters remain high and are likely to increase in the future. Nevertheless, economic assessments face both technical and policy challenges. This working paper makes three suggestions for improving the economic effectiveness of investment decision‐making for disaster risk reduction.
